which one is for me

in one of the IM interviews i attended,the PD,s attitude was very positive.she kept on talking about my good credentials.She even asked me why i didn,t apply there last year though it was already feb when i got my results.I send her a thankyou note and she replied.I had a pediatrics interview.The PD told me that in the last 20 years it is his experience that the 1st 10 to 20 candidates never come .He told me to let him know if I am interested.I wrote to him.
OK the question is I am interested inpediatrics.But where do i have more chances......the IM program where the pd replied or the pediatric program ????

Re: which one is for me TheOne - 02-06-08 18:35 No one can answer this one, it's the PDs who have the decision to pick you or not. If your going to the Match, rank the one that most suits you first then the others. Good luck.

Re: which one is for me taghrid - 02-07-08 11:27 Replying to the thank you letter is a routine work done by the PD , I think they have to be nice, it does not mean you will get matched, But it is a positive sign, If any of the programs offer you prematch, Take it without doubt, because waiting for the match is too much stressing, Good luck

Else, it is all a game of words.

Re: which one is for me doctor1 - 02-12-08 11:42 hey incase any of the 2 programs gives prematches in general and has not offered one for u as of yet that means u have a betetr chance in the other program otherwise its same in both in so either ask them one or wait for the match
