hi everyone,i hav just finished my final year mbbs exams. im starting to prep for my steps.
plz advise me which step should i tak first,step1 or step2? i heard that step 2 consists mostly of final year subs,so i had that idea. Should i join in any coaching centre?

Most test-takers take USMLE Step-1 first.Studying for Step-1 helps a person perform better on Step-2CK coz' the concepts become more clear.
But, in yur case as u r in the Final year of yur MBBS course, so u r in touch with the subjects which r tested on Step-2CK.This may make u feel that u can perform better on Step-2CK,but I wud still advise u to take Step-1 first coz' of the above reason.
If u use the proper study material and read that for an appropriate period of time then u don't need to attend any special coaching.Coaching is mainly taken by those who have a problem taking standardised exams or who have earlier failed any of the USMLE Steps.
