Yale Doc Killed By Former NYC Colleague!

Here is a very bad news for all those who belong to the medical community.I felt very compelled to share this very news on this forum which is otherwise meant for learning,etc.I think that this news is much relevant to all of us as well.

"Vajindor Toor, a doctor at the Yale School of Medicine, was shot and killed early Monday morning in the parking lot of his condominium in Branford. His pregnant wife was with him during the shooting, but was not hurt.

Police arrested Chinese citizen Lishan Wang in connection with the killing. Investigators believe he worked with Toor at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Authorities described the shooting as an ambush.

"Apparently, he was just walking towards his car and the person who did it fled, you know, immediately jumped in the car and left," said Lt. Geoffrey Morgan of the Branford Police Department.

Police say Wang also fired at Toor's pregnant wife, but she was not struck.

Wang, from Beijing, was last known to be living in Marietta, Ga. He was held Monday on $2 million bond. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.

The killing comes seven months after investigators found the body of graduate student Annie Le stuffed inside the walls of a campus lab she worked in. A co-worker of hers was arrested and accused of Le's murder.
