With a state-of-the-art messaging system, DocTok.com is now giving back for your efforts in participating in our USMLE and Residency forums. We also believe that your participation in USMLE forums boosts your preparation and allows you to keep your medical information up-to-date.


Here is how it works:

1. Register your free account (a valid email address is required for notification purposes).

2. Post a new thread: Post a new USMLE/Residency relevant thread and get an instant 2 points. If the thread is more than 100 characters long you get an additional 3 points. If you return at anytime later and support your thread you will receive 1 point in addition to the reply points.

3. Reply to a thread: Post a relevant reply and get an instant 2 points and if the reply is more than 100 characters long, get an additional 3 points. If you are the first* to reply to the thread we will give you 2 points in addition to the reply points. *Thread starter does not qualify for the “First Reply” points.


Summary:

- New thread: Instant 2 points

- Replies (non-consecutive): Instant 2 points

- Over 100 characters (excluding spaces) threads and replies: additional 3 points

- Support your thread: additional 1 point

- First reply: additional 2 points


Thread starter does not qualify for first reply points. Repliers do not receive points for consecutive posts in the same thread, but posts will register toward their accumulative post count. DocTok moderators must approve every post points before adding it to your pool of points. Your posts will show "pending" message until our moderators approve the points provided for the post. Message relevancy is very important in order to approve your pending points otherwise you may not be credited. Abusing the system will result in a disqualification.


DocTok top 3 (monthly) posters will be rewarded with the following:

Highest poster- $100

2nd highest- $75

3rd highest- $50


In order to qualify for the top 3 positions you must have a minimum of 50 posts and 150 points per month.

Note: Having over 50 posts and 150 points per given month does not guarantee you the top poster reward but qualifies you if you become one of these top three posters. Payments are made ONLY thru paypal.com. Doctok will not provide a given member more than one reward per month.

There will also be accumulative one time reward for all-time posters with over 600 posts and 1800 points. These members can choose any one of the following:

1. $100 thru paypal.com

2. A customized (2 specialty) residency program reports

3. Professional personal statements edit

DocTok.com all-time poster reward may be subject to changes. Please revisit this site for updates.

Please note that the system looks for your POSTS and POINTS number. Even though some posts do not earn points, they will count as posts. Remember, there must be Post/Point minimum reached to qualify for our rewards.
